The Association has yet to find a “dental-only” recruitment agency, but many agencies do specialise in healthcare personnel and they handle dental vacancies from time to time. Regarding advertisements, it would appear that The Grocer is still the place to look for any sales vacancies, no matter which sector. Also Thursday’s edition of the Daily Telegraph and the Times carry Executive Search sections. Whilst the dental journals’ classified sections carry recruitment advertising, the majority are for dentists and complementary staff i.e. nurses, technicians, hygienists etc. It is still worth looking however as the dental manufacturers and dealers do occasionally advertise. Some journals to look out for would include: Dentistry, the Probe and Dental Practice.
