The British Association of Dental Nurses (BADN)
The British Association of Dental Nurses is the only professional organisation totally committed to the representation of ALL Dental Nurses – whether qualified or unqualified, working in general practice, hospital, community services, the Armed Forces, industry, practice management or reception.
The Annual Conference, held in May each year, provides an opportunity for members of the dental team to meet with colleagues, socialise and, of course, further their professional education. The Conference is held in a different location each year to enable dental professionals throughout the UK (and frequently from other countries) to attend.
The Association represents Dental Nurses at all levels and has representatives on the National Examining Board, the Dental Nurses Standards and Training Advisory Board and its Registration Committee and the Joint Consultative Committee.
It is only with the continuing support of Dental Nurses through membership of the Association that the Association can continue to support Dental Nurses, negotiate on their behalf and represent the interests of Dental Nurses at all levels.
