Hygienist - Career prospects
The majority of Dental Hygienists work for one or more general practices, either on a full-time or part-time basis. Both NHS and private treatment may be provided in surgeries or specialist preventive dental units.
Dental Hygienists are also employed in the Community dental service, the Hospital service, the Armed Forces, Industry and Dental Schools.
